Ron Bailey is an alumnus of the University of Michigan-Flint with a B.A. in Theatre. While pursuing his degree, he was a Director, Master Control Operator, and Lighting Designer for the University of Michigan Public Television and received a MI-NATAS EMMY award for Studio Lighting. After performing as an actor in various productions for UM-Flint’s Theatre Dept., Flint City Theater, Vertigo Productions, and Flint Youth Theater, he moved to New York City where he was able to parlay his artistic pursuits into a career in high end corporate hospitality serving one of the world's largest law firms followed by some time in executive recruiting for the U.S. and Canadian technology sectors.

Ron had been following iMichigan Productions online since its inception through their award-winning documentaries and joined the organization after returning to his roots in the Greater Flint Area. It was while attending the Flint Youth Film Festival’s 2023 opening ceremony that he was inspired to take action to rejoin the thriving arts community in Michigan with iMP.
